Abstract: | The paper considers the essence and features of the strategy of globalization in the international market, taking into account the country-oriented direction or standardization of activities. It is emphasized that firms that pursue a global standardization strategy focus on increasing profitability and profit growth by reaping the cost reductions that come from economies of scale, learning effects, and location economies. The main advantages and disadvantages of a globalization strategy are noted in the paper. |
