Innovative methods and technolodies of teaching foreign languaged

Abstract

The article is devoted to the description of innovative methods of teaching foreign languages. Innovative methods and technologies of teaching today are gaining increasing recognition and new opportunities associated with the establishment of interpersonal interaction. Special attention is paid to the choice of methods which should vary with different purposes, ages groups, and stages of mental development. A structure of teaching process and its results are presented here. Some of the common learning characteristics of language learners as well as guiding principles to teaching foreign languages are given. In accordance with the selected characteristics and guiding principles the author considers it necessary to use some of innovative methods of teaching foreign languages. The main methodological characteristics are described in the article as well.
