Хокку как метатекстовый элемент в романе Б. Акунина «Алмазная колесница»

Abstract

В статье предпринята попытка определения роли хокку в выражении авторских стратегий в романе Б. Акунина «Алмазная колесница». Анализ языкового материала позволил сделать вывод о том, что хокку как метатекстовый элемент, находящийся в «сильной» позиции, существенно влияет на организацию метадискурсивного пространства, мотивирует читателя к активному восприятию текста, способствует реализации авторских интенций. Данные метаэлементы, направленные на игру с читателем, на вовлечение его в активную деятельность по восприятию текста и способствующие созданию интриги, являются полифункциональными единицами, организующими многоуровневое дискурсивное пространство. Авторские хокку имеют эмоционально-эстетическую, когнитивную, апеллятивную, фатическую, структурообразующую и смыслообразующую функции, которые подчинены метадискурсивной.

У статті зроблена спроба визначення ролі хоку в вираженні авторських стратегій у романі Б. Акуніна «Алмазная колесница». Аналіз мовного матеріалу дозволив зробити висновок про те, що хоку як метатекстовий елемент, що знаходиться в «сильній» позиції, істотно впливає на організацію метадискурсивного простору і сприяє реалізації авторського задуму. Дані метаелементи, які спрямовані на гру з читачем, на залучення його до активної діяльності зі сприйняття тексту та сприяють створенню інтриги, є поліфункціональними одиницями, що організують багаторівневий простір.

The article gives an attempt of appraising the role of hokku in the author’s strategies expression in B. Akunin’s novel “Almaznaya Kolesnitsa”. The language material analysis has allowed to draw the conclusion that hokku as a metatextual element in a “strong” position has a considerable impact on the metadiscursive space arrangement, gets the reader motivated to active perception of the text, facilitates the fulfilment of the author's intention. The elements in question among other metatextual units (discursive words, rhetorical questions, expletive constructions, experienced speech etc.) encourage the author's viewpoint explication, equalise reader’s perception of the literary work and the author’s intention. Having placed at the end of each chapter hokkus which are semantically connected with ‘near’ and ‘distant’ contexts as well as with the chapter title the author uses them to highlight priorities, refers the reader to the text having been read, makes for deducing profound philosophical generalisations and conclusions. The presence of author’s hokkus creates complex interaction involving metadiscursive dialogueness being overlapped with the interdiscursive one which is due to usage a ‘strange’ form – the form of hokku for conveying the personal (author's) meaning. These metatextual elements (which are aimed at the game with the reader, at his involvement into active efforts of the text perception and conducing to the intrigue creation) are polyfunctional units arranging the multilevel discursive space. The author's hokkus possess emotional and aesthetic, cognitive, appellative, phatic, structure-forming and sense-making functions which are subject to the metadiscursive one.
