Risk-based approach to combating money laundering

Abstract

The findings provided in the monograph address the development aspects of the risk-based approach to combating money laundering. The analysis includes international standards applied to regulate and develop the risk-oriented financial monitoring system; financial intermediaries’ functioning peculiarities under the economy digitalization conditions and the peculiarities of primary financial monitoring conducted in the insurance industry and by banks; theoretical and methodological provisions for assessment and banks’ risk management from the standpoint of the factors influencing the money laundering processes.
